Global Certification Society (GCS)

GCS is a registered society established in 2012 under the “Himachal Pradesh Societies Registration Act, 2006” (No. 25 of 2006) in the State of Himachal Pradesh, India, by professionals who have rendered valuable services in the fields of agriculture and allied sectors. The organisation comprises retired officers, professors, and scientists from the State Departments of Agriculture, Horticulture, Animal Husbandry, State Agricultural Universities, and the Agricultural Banking sector. We have well-defined policies and procedures aligned with applicable organic standards, enabling us to provide hassle-free and efficient certification services to organic producers.

Global Certification Society (GCS) is an organic certification body accredited by the Agricultural & Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) since 2016 for the certification of Organic Crop Production, Wild Harvest, and Input Approvals under NPOP (National Programme for Organic Production). GCS has also been recognised by the National Centre for Organic and Natural Farming (NCO&NF) since 2022 for the PGS-India Organic and Natural Farming Certification System. More about us
